Do I need an account to play? No. Word Scramble works fully offline with no account, sign-in, or internet connection required.
How do I unlock more categories and color themes? From the home screen or Settings, tap “Unlock All Categories & Themes” — a single one-time purchase ($2.99) unlocks everything permanently. No subscriptions.
I bought the unlock on another device (or reinstalled the app) — how do I get it back? Open Settings and tap “Restore Purchase.” As long as you’re signed into the same Apple ID (or Google account) you originally purchased with, your unlock will be restored automatically.
How do I unscramble a word? Tap the scrambled letters in order to spell the word — they’ll fill in above. Tap a letter you’ve already placed to send it back if you change your mind. Use the Shuffle Letters button anytime to rearrange the remaining tiles.
How do I change the text size? Open Settings from the home screen and choose Small, Medium, Large, or Huge under Text Size.
How do I turn off the background music or sound effects? Tap the music note or speaker icon in the top right of the home screen (or the game screen), or turn them off in Settings.
