Aaron Thomas (“we,” “our,” or “us”) built Word Scramble by Cloverbrook Games (“the App”) as a paid-unlock app with no subscriptions or ads. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the App.
By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
We do not collect any personal information.
The App offers a single one-time purchase (“Unlock All Categories & Themes,” $2.99) that unlocks additional content within the App. This purchase is processed entirely through Apple’s App Store or Google Play (depending on which device you use), using that store’s standard in-app purchase system.
We use RevenueCat, a third-party service, to verify and manage the state of your purchase (i.e., to check whether you have already unlocked the content). RevenueCat receives a device-generated anonymous identifier and your purchase/transaction status from Apple’s App Store or Google Play — it does not receive your name, email, address, or payment details. We never see or store your payment information (card number, billing address, etc.) directly; that is handled entirely by Apple or Google.
| Service | Purpose | Privacy Policy |
|---|---|---|
| Apple App Store / StoreKit | Processes the in-app purchase and payment (iOS) | Apple Privacy Policy |
| Google Play Billing | Processes the in-app purchase and payment (Android) | Google Play Privacy Policy |
| RevenueCat | Verifies purchase/entitlement status | RevenueCat Privacy Policy |
Because we do not collect personal information, there is no user data for us to use, sell, rent, or share for advertising, profiling, or any other purpose.
The App is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. Since the App collects no personal information from any user, there is no data to review, delete, or otherwise manage on behalf of a child.
Since no personal information is collected or transmitted, there is no personal data at risk of being exposed by us. Your device’s own settings and your operating system’s built-in protections govern the local app data (text size, sound preferences, color theme, purchase status) stored on your device.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example if we add a new feature that changes our data practices. When we do, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page. This page is the current version at all times.
